IT'S FUN AND EASY TO GET INVOLVED AT THE HARBOR PLAYHOUSE!
- The most obvious and visible way is to audition for a part in a play: All auditions are open to the public. Contact the office to see what's coming up, check this website, or keep an eye on the calendar section of the Caller-Times.
- Less visible, but no less important, are all the backstage jobs: Building and painting scenery; gathering props; running lights, sound or flies during performances; sewing costumes, etc.
- Front-of-house positions are also filled by volunteers: help by ushering, working concession stand or box office before curtain, then stay to see the show.
- We can utilize just about any skill or connection you have: Drive around town alot? - help us deliver posters! Good on the computer? - come enter names into our mailing list database! Have basic office skills? - come run the copier, collate or stuff envelopes for us! Know some local businesses or merchants? - round up donations of goods, services or cash for us.
- Whatever you can do for Harbor Playhouse is greatly appreciated - if nothing else, come to see a show, and tell everyone you know.
